1980前半レトロ自転車コレクション@家の裏庭。My favorite brand of bicycles is "Indi 500". This is a Western Australian brand popular in the 1970s and 1980s. These bikes were actually manufactured by Kuwahara in Osaka and then assembled in Perth, Western Australia. They used Dia Compe brakes, Sugino cranks and Shimano Altus gears. The brand was short lived because Taiwan and China began manufacturing bikes cheaper than Japan could and the brand died. Today the bikes end up as rubbish because they are heavy steel inferior in performance to ligut weigjt modern bikes. They are now a kitsch, nostalgic bike and only valued by middle aged men who grew up in Perth in the 70s and 80s and owned one when they were teenagers. Steel is real. Indi 500.
